 The clitoris has been neglected for far too long!
The female orgasm stirs our minds and imagination. It is much less visible, compared to the men's orgasm. It is mysterious and to a large extent yet unexplored. For this reason, there are still quite a few myths present as regards women and their sexuality.

According to Koedt, there exists only the clitoral orgasm

In the 1970s, feminist Anna Koedt aroused a lot of controversy by claiming there is only one real female orgasm, according to her opinion. This is the clitoral orgasm. Before her, the father of psychoanalysis claimed that the only real orgasm for women was the vaginal orgasm. Both of them derived their findings from the situation in the then society. Koedt's thesis on the clitoral orgasm was probably based on a desire to oppose the belief that women who do not experience vaginal orgasm are frigid.

The concept of frigidity

Of course, the time has passed since then. We still wonder about the female orgasm.How do you know she came?

Lack of knowledge about female sexuality is largely attributed to patriarchate, the dominance of men also in terms of production of knowledge, and the silence of women. Many times the conclusions of men were based on their own frustrations, which meant they understood and interpreted things in the wrong way. Men were the ones who defined women as frigid, an they still often draw support from Freud's beliefs. Relative lack of knowledge about the female anatomy has led to the psychiatric diagnosis of frigidity, which said that a woman was frigid because she was unable to adapt to the (inferior) social role of a woman. Frigidity was therefore a double burden for a woman, who was stamped by this diagnosis to be abnormal both physically and psychologically.

Vagina vs. clitoris

We therefore have two researchers. Her and him. They both come from their own time. She follows his discoveries. Later she opposes and supplements them. In any case, we should not take her or his research out of the then social context. He says the vagina is the centre, and she redirects attention to the clitoris. In the past, women were mainly presented as rather non-sexual beings, which was also the result of a high degree of frigidity that was measured by how many women experienced vaginal orgasm. Freud did not reach his conclusions on the basis of knowledge about the female anatomy but on the basis of speculation and a belief that women are inferior to men, on the basis of glorifying the almighty penis. The men’s rejection of the importance of the clitoris was probably also based on the fear that, once women would find out that the penis is not the only ride to heaven, they would reject them.
However, certain followers of Freud have (unfortunately) dealt with the female anatomy and even arrived at the conclusion that female frigidity can be healed with an operation, as the reason for frigidity was the fact that the clitoris and vagina are too far apart (by the way, wasn't that indirectly admitting the importance of the clitoris?). However, they were basically not interested in women. They only tried to shape the female body so as to finally suit their ideas.
Mutilation of the body is not the only damage they caused with their "scientific" work. They did even greater damage to the female psyche, to the self-image of women. Many women had a feeling of guilt because they did not manage that which was presumably natural for them. Thirdly, damage was also done in the sense that women were robbed of experiencing pleasure in sexual intercourse. At the beginning of marriage, many young women were told: “be patient, it won't last long”.
The female orgasm doesn't depend solely on either the vagina or the clitoris, the psychological and mental arousal, foreplay, or the penis size. Kinsey came to a conclusion in his tests that only 14% of women have intense feelings on the inside of the vagina. This is nothing terrible because the vagina also has a number of other functions, apart from sexual satisfaction (periods, birth etc.).
The female body is capable of orgasming whichever way.

Does the vaginal orgasm depend on the G-spot?


Let's put another woman into the equation. Emmanuelle Jannini emphasises physical differences between women and says some women who have a pronounced G-spot are capable of experiencing the vaginal orgasm, while others can only experience the clitoral one. The conclusion could therefore be that the clitoral orgasm is more typical of all women and the vaginal one is rather an exception than a rule.

Glorifying one type of orgasm over another reminds me of the war of two worlds where only one can prevail and there is no room for compromise. The fact that remains is that the centre of the orgasm is difficult to pinpoint.

Trying to come to the bottom of the female orgasm seems absurd. Packing a woman into one clear frame seems a crime, as there is not only one type of a woman. This is perhaps the only mystery which you need to know about women.

Anal Intercourse Can Lead To Anogenital Warts

What are anogenital warts or condylomata acuminata?

These are lumps which you get during unprotected anal intercourse with an infected person. They develop on the skin around the anus and inside the anal canal, on the head of the penis, on the scrotum, on the inner side of thighs, on the vaginal lips, inside the vagina, on the cervix as well as (possibly) in the mouth or throat.

What causes anogenital warts?

The virus causing anogenital warts is called human papilloma virus (HPV). There are over a hundred sub-types of HPV, but the viruses which causeanogenital warts are different than the ones causing warts on other parts of the skin. The appearance of the warts is different as well, particularly their softness and smoothness.

How do you get anogenital warts?

The principal way of spreading this infection is sexual intercourse - anal, vaginal and oral. Anogenital warts can also be passed on by towels, clothing, sex objects of the infected, or by giving birth. However, these latter ways of spreading anogenital warts are rare.

What is the incubation period of an infection?

It can take a few weeks, a year or even longer from infection to the development of anogenital warts. The risk of infection increases with multiple sexual partners, smoking and infection with other sexually transmitted diseases. However, most infections with human papilloma viruses don't cause problems and usually heal without treatment.

Do we have to see a physician?

It's recommended that men and women who practice anal intercourseundergo periodical preventive examinations of the anal canal, as anogenital warts only develop in the anal canal and don't cause problems for a long time.

Women also have to undergo the examination of the vagina and the cervix. It's recommended that homosexual men undergo preventive examinations once every three years, and in case of problems with the anus (itching, bleeding, diarrhoea and similar).

It's recommended that people who have weak or damaged immune system (HIV positive patients and people after the transplantation of an organ), which enables anogenital warts to occur more often and which makes the treatment longer and more difficult, undergo a preventive examination once a year.

Anogenital warts are a sexually transmitted disease, so it's good if both partners undergo an examination, and it's also recommended that they undergo tests for potential infections with syphilis, hepatitis B and C and HIV.

How does the treatment look like?

The treatment aims to remove the symptoms. Larger anogenital warts have to be removed surgically because some rare forms are also malign, which may cause cancer of the cervix, the anal canal, throat, the penis and the vagina.

For milder forms of anogenital warts, Podophyllin has been used or freezing with liquid nitrogen. Because the disease tends to recur, monthly check-ups are necessary. For the most severe forms of anogenital warts, Imiquimod (Aldora) has been used.

Treatment for the sexually transmitted anogenital warts - condylomata acuminata - is long-term and difficult. It's important to reduce to the minimum the possibility of infection and passing it on to the partner. Therefore, prevention(safe anal sex) is of key importance.

You are more likely to contract HIV in unprotected vaginal and anal sex than inoral sex. The person who performs fellatio or cunnilingus is in greater danger. The person on whom fellatio is performed is less likely to be infected by the person who performs it, unless the latter has deep wounds in the mouth (for instance, after a major dental operation).

Herpes

Although genital herpes and mouth herpes are caused by different types of viruses (genital herpes by HSV1 and mouth herpes by HSV2), they can also combine and then spread further. You can therefore contract herpes by having oral sex. Herpes is transmitted even if symptoms do not appear. There are certain drugs which can reduce the risk of an infection, but they are not 100 per cent effective. If you decide to use a condom during oral sex, the protection is still not 100 per cent safe - the virus can spread from skin to skin.

Gonorrhoea

Chlamydia

Chlamydia is easily transmitted in oral sex performed on a man. Both partners are at risk, the person performing fellatio as well as the person receiving it. Infections contracted in performing fellatio on a woman are rare. With chlamydia, chances of an infection are the same as in case of gonorrhoea.

Syphilis

Syphilis is easily transmitted in oral sex. According to empirical statistics (data available for the USA), 15 per cent of syphilis infections are passed on during unprotected oral sex. Although syphilis is transmitted only if the symptoms develop, the primary and secondary signs are very difficult to detect.
Oral sex causes 15 per cent of syphilis infections.

Hepatitis B

There are no reliable data which would show that hepatitis B is contracted through oral sex. On the other hand, hepatitis A is easily transmitted in the so-called anilingus or oral-anal sex. Both types of hepatitis can be prevented with vaccination.
Therefore, oral sex is not as safe as people generally believe. When you have it, it is very important to know your partner well, and it is always a good idea to see your physician to examine you from time to time.
